- They have the proper personnel protective equipment available.
- They have been offered the hepatitis B vaccine with a follow up visit.
- You have provided them with the proper method to remove, store, and legally dispose of bio-hazardous waste.
Only after these steps are met, can an employee attempt to clean a biohazard scene having blood and bodily fluids present.
